About Louise.......

Louise Russell - Dramatic Soprano  - studied singing with the late Soprano, Soo-Bee-Lee and piano with Dr Cohn Peters, at Chichester University gaining a BA Hons Degree in Music & Related Arts in 1990. After graduating she  continued to study voice with International Soprano and Professor of the Royal College of Music, Alison Pearce and then from 1996 International Bass Baritone, Martin Elliott, who became Head of Voice at Chichester University in 1990's. At the same time, with Martin Elliott,  she embarked on an on- going project of promoting singing in the community, linking Students and local community Amateurs with professionals, and creating a regular platform of experience, to include regular vocal training sessions and performance opportunities

Louise regularly sings in concert and on stage - but also masterminds on-going vocal workshops and masterclass projects addressing vocal and physical health problems at the same time, working closely with Rachel Lynne.     A talented musician and performer herself, Rachel combines her passions in her unique service to performers - helping them to manage the immense stresses & injuries caused by demanding schedules - the discipline of Performing Arts Medicine.

Louise sings regularly with Havant Light Opera, and CAOS Musical Productions, Chichester and The Regis Music and Concert Club, and from time to time in Concert in other parts of the South.  She also accompanies for Southdown Savoyards, based in Petworth.

Louise, based in Emsworth, is available for private singing and piano lessons, and currently travels to Southsea, Chichester and  Bognor Regis to give music lessons during the week to students of all ages and abilities.

Louise is a local artist with a unique individuality. Her  experimental and creative approach to life is reflected in her work

Naturally a portrait artist she has more recently  developed her leanings in that field to work inspirationally, reaching into the depths of the subconscious mind  and utilizes a variety of different materials to create recognizable images whilst exploring a wide range of colour;  lines; shapes; light and shade.  It is then up to individual interpretation as to the meaning behind the works

Since gaining her degree has focussed specifically on arts in the community and in bringing all aspects of arts and performance into one spiritual  experience
